Join Asuka as she finds herself caught up between Misuzu, her ladylike classmate, and Nerine, a girl with scales and a secret. Sakuragi Asuka is an ordinary girl of no particular note in Out of the Ocean.

She’s so plain and ordinary her parents think nothing of palming her off on her aunt for a year so they can work overseas, leaving Asuka marooned on the small island of Omorishima. Asuka is an awkward girl by nature, and she finds it hard to fit in. How in the world is she going to cope living in Omorishima, which is so dissimilar to Tokyo?!

Asuka is dreading going to school, and she’s terrified she won’t be able to make any friends… But a chance encounter with a mysterious maiden late at night soon flips Asuka’s life upside-down.
