This game has some issues. The balancing does not seem to be quite there, the level design is sometimes confusing, but this game has a very strong foundation, good execution in a lot of areas, and even with the mentioned flaws, managed to hold my attention for a couple of hours in the first session. If you are looking for a really polished experience, this is not it. If you are interested in an interesting take on the souls-like genre, then please give Back to Ashes a try. I did, and I do not regret it. And I look forward to my next session.
